Alex walks !!!

I'm going to post a video of Alex using markers in her high chair making daddy a Easter card, enjoy and yes she does eat the markers :). Alex just starting taking some steps the other day, she is growing up way too fast. I can't wait to go home for the summer, it will be great to spend some time with my family and for Alex to spend some time with them. I am sure she will love all of the animals and room on the farm, I can imagine her running around outside and petting all the animals. Mike is off to Diego Garcia, he is doing good it's pretty much a year long vacation for him, although he misses us. Umm, not too much else is going on here, just finishing up the semester, moving into storage, and then vacation for three months :). Anyway, enjoy the pictures and video, I haven't made one of her walking yet, but when I do I will post it online.

I am just sitting here realizing that tomorrow I will be turning 22, I can't believe that I am this old. I know 22 isn't old, but it feels like just yesterday I was turning 16. Next month it will be our 6 year dating anniversary, which is even crazier. I am going to post some pictures of Alex and I, along with her toliet paper pictures. Enjoy!! Alexandra at 9 months

Tomorrow is Alex's 9 month old birthday, and it is also the day that her daddy will be leaving her for the next year. We had Alyson come over to take some pictures of us today, and they turned out pretty well, I will post a few. I also have a video of Alex laughing to post too. Enjoy :)

Alex is 9 months next week!

Where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday I was in the hospital waiting for Alex to get here and now she is almost 9 months old. I can't believe it!! I took a lot of pictures recently, and just haven't had the time to post them online yet. We have some pictures of her first pancake, falling asleep in her high chair, trying to get a picture of her standing by herself, and a few others. We also have a couple new videos, one of her eating her pancake, and one of her climbing up the stairs. Mike is getting ready to leave next week, so I have a picture of her with a monkey (Meso) that has a recording of his voice in it saying I love you monkey. He calls her monkey, and it is super cute. Anyway, I am getting excited for the summer, and I can't wait to go home for a couple months, it will be great. The picture of Mike combing her hair is halarious, it looks like one of the faces I would give him :).

Alex at almost 8 months :)

Here are some pictures and a couple videos. I just found out tonight that she will clap!! She is also crawling, she is growing up too fast!!

I will have to add some pictures of her at christmas too, she loved opening presents for about 15 minutes until it was time for a nap. She has two bottom teeth and is eating baby food and cheerios right now, it is crazy how big she is getting. She has also started pulling herself up and standing whenever she can, and of course she has become a little mommys girl, why wouldn't she be one?

Thanksgiving is the time to eat!!

So Mike and I decided that it was time to give Alex her first rice cereal on Thanksgiving. She absolutely loved it, and was ready to eat. She opened her mouth, and ate all of it. She only made a couple cute faces, but by the second time we feed her she got used to it. Here are some pictures, I have to edit the video to make it shorter but then I will post it. I actually got pictures of her smiling, I think she is getting used to the camera. Oh yeah, she was helping Mike open one of his early Christmas presents :).

Bath Time !!!

We recently started putting her in the bath tub with a little bit of water so she can play. We took some pictures tonight of her in the water and a little video. I am going to add pictures and try to get the video on here too :).

Here are some pictures of her in the tub and then her afterwards with a clip in her hair. Her hair is getting really long, and it's almost to the point where we need to get it out of her eyes. We are going to start feeding her rice cereal within the next couple of weeks so I will make sure to post a video and pictures of her first experience with food.

Today before we went to work out I took some pictures of Alex. Here is a couple of us together, it's been a while since got a picture with her, so I made Mike take a couple.

I also tried to get her to smile while I was holding the camera, she would smiel and then stop smiling as soon as I brought the camera up to take the picture. I got one that is a little blurry though...
